Refining wavelength from your standard data
At the beginning of every beamtime your beamline contact will collect data from a standard reference material ( usually LaB6). This pattern is used to refine the wavelength of the monochoromatic radiation that is used during your experiment. Each user should be profficent in obtaining these parameters themselves from the data, hence we have provided here two tutorials detailing how to do this.

Refining a standard from TOPAS

We hope that users of the beamline will find these tutorials instructive, please direct any feedback to the PD beamline team.
