The Australian Synchrotron facility must be appropriately acknowledged for all beamtime experiments.
The following form(s) of attribution are required in the 'Acknowledgements' section. For publications without an 'Acknowledgements' section, the following attribution(s) should be made either as a footnote to the title, or included as a reference when the instrument is identified in the 'Experimental' section.
Publications resulting from research using instruments at the Australian Synchrotron facility:
"This research was undertaken on the [insert beamline name] beamline at the Australian Synchrotron, part of ANSTO."
Publications resulting from research using the Australian Synchrotron macromolecular crystallography (MX) beamlines:
The following paper must be referenced in all publications arising from data produced using the Australian Synchrotron macromolecular crystallography beamlines (formerly known as the protein crystallography beamlines):
"McPhillips, T. M., McPhillips, S. E., Chiu, H. J., Cohen, A. E., Deacon, A. M., Ellis, P. J., Garman, E., Gonzalez, A., Sauter, N. K., Phizackerley, R. P., Soltis, S. M., Kuhn, P. Blu-Ice and the Distributed Control System: software for data acquisition and instrument control at macromolecular crystallography beamlines. (2002) J. Synchrotron Rad. 9, 401-406"
All publications arising from data produced using the MX2 beamline from 2017 onwards require the following acknowledgement:
"This research was undertaken in part using the MX2 beamline at the Australian Synchrotron, part of ANSTO, and made use of the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF) detector"
Publications resulting from research funded by SIEF:
"This work is supported by the Science and Industry Endowment Fund"
Publications resulting from research using MASSIVE:
"This work was supported by the Multi-modal Australian ScienceS Imaging and Visualisation Environment (MASSIVE) (www.massive.org.au)"
Publications resulting from research using the ANBF facility require the following acknowledgement of the facilities and funding provided:
"This research was undertaken at the Australian National Beamline Facility at the Photon Factory in Japan, operated by the Australian Synchrotron. We acknowledge the Australian Research Council for financial support and the High Energy Accelerator Research Organisation (KEK) in Tsukuba, Japan, for operations support"
Publications resulting from travel funded by the International Synchrotron Access Program require the following acknowledgement of the funding provided:
"We acknowledge travel funding provided by the International Synchrotron Access Program (ISAP) managed by the Australian Synchrotron, part of ANSTO, and funded by the Australian Government"
